Nowadays, FLV is a very popular and widely-used video format, especially because it’s the one used as default by many famous video web streaming services. Unfortunately, it’s not supported by any player or portable device. Therefore converting them to other formats is often required. FLV.com FLV Converter is a handy and powerful tool that doesn’t only help you transform FLV videos to other video file formats, but it can actually also convert videos to MP3 audio files.

FLV.com FLV Converter comes with some more cool benefits. For example, it offers a simple and easy-to-use interface that even complete beginners can use. Furthermore, the conversion speed is really good.

Unfortunately, there are some downsides too. The most annoying thing about this tool is the fact that in order to batch convert multiple files at the same time you have to purchase and register its Plus version. In my opinion this is a basic feature that should have been provided for free. Another thing that bothers me is that the number of supported output formats is rather low. You can convert only to MP4, MOV, AVI, 3GP, and WMV. Last but not least, it doesn’t allow setting advanced parameters for the output files, like bit rates or frame rates, but only choosing a quality level.

Cutting long story short, FLV.com FLV Converter is a nice tool, but I still can find too many flaws about it. Therefore it’s not exactly my top recommendation when it comes to FLV file converters.
